Brief & Context

​

Refurbishment and retrofit of a Victorian terrace house with loft extension. The brief centres on improving energy efficiency and occupant comfort, whilst improving the functionality of the house for family life.

 

TJA’s Response

​

The proposed works include internal reorganisation of the existing house, with a focus on the existing kitchen and bathrooms, a strategy for deep retrofit, external landscaping and a dormer loft extension to provide an additional bedroom. The works will be phased to accommodate the needs of the family and the project budget while prioritising easy wins and ensuring that early phase works do not impede later stage works.
